His legal team is considering taking action under Florida state law. However, according to David Heller from the Media Law Resource Center in New York, such a lawsuit would likely fail. He explained that while BBC programs are indeed viewable in Florida, this alone is insufficient to establish legal grounds for a case in the United States. “There is no demonstrated damage, which makes the complaint weak,” he said.

Nonetheless, Trump has frequently threatened legal action in the past, even when success seemed unlikely. This controversy comes amid other major headlines, including the UK’s upcoming asylum reform, to be announced by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, and growing tensions in the British healthcare sector due to ongoing staff strikes and financial strain.
